The new owner of the Queen Adelaide pub is David Green, he is a qualified Fly fishing instructor with over 18 years experience of instructing and guiding and a lifetime of fishing for trout, coarse and sea fish. He would be delighted to guide you for a half day, full day or evening on Blagdon lake.

I am now taking bookings for fly fishing tuition and guided half and full days out on the lakes. As a qualified instructor I will teach you how to fly fish and catch trout. (Conditions permitting)! Queen Adelaide has been serving Ale since as early as 1840, located on the westerly edge of the village overlooking the beautiful Blagdon Lake. The Queen Adelaide has re-established itself as a good spot to eat, with a Trip Advisor rating of 5.
Regular opening days are Monday through to Sunday; being a small pub it is best to book for lunch or dinner, but we take small groups of 4 to 24 people any time of the week.
